Ford’s Theatre Reopening
The Ford Theatre’s museum will be reopening July 15, after two years of rennovation: Re-Dressing an Old Wrong. Ford’s Theatre, of course, is where Lincoln was assassinated during the Civil War. The exhibit features not only the clothes he was wearing but talks about his life in DC.
This caught my eye:
“Some artifacts have a lot of energy left in them,” said Bill Veldran, co-owner of ParaMounts, as he stood over the mannequin.
Maybe that’s why people are drawn to antiques.
